International Patient Services

Plan Your Visit

All of the procedures for accepting patients from abroad have been made as simple as possible. We suggest a dozen easy measures for patients to follow when organizing their trip to India for medical treatment in order to avoid any difficulties. To begin with, a coordinator is chosen and assigned to you from the moment you arrive in India until the end of your stay. The patient coordinator’s job actually starts long before you arrive in India.

Medical Reports

As soon as a patient expresses interest in seeking a medical opinion from a qualified medical professional, the patient coordinator seeks the patient’s medical records.

Visa Facilitation

Our staff assists and sends a Visa Facilitation Letter to the Indian High Commission in the patient’s country of origin.

Arrival Confirmation

The patient verifies his or her arrival time and date with our hospital’s international staff. The in-charge manager sends a letter confirming the doctor’s appointment, lodging reservations, etc.

Patient Welcome

The patient is greeted and escorted to the hospital or guest house by the patient coordinator after being met at the airport.

Treatment Plan

Patient receives thorough treatment plan after first evaluation and consultation with treating doctor.

Discharge

Before being discharged, the patient settles the bills and is either transferred to a guest house or driven to the airport.

Aftercare

There is a follow-up call, Skype, video conferencing, etc., if necessary.

Medical Visa

All medical tourists visiting India for medical treatment must get a visa. Patients are required to email a copy of their passports as well as the passport of any accompanying person to the hospital. After the International Patient Care team at the hospital has received the passport copies, the patient’s medical visa invitation letter will be issued via email to them and to the closest Indian embassy.

We will prepare a medical visa invitation letter that will include your name as it appears on your passport with your passport numbers. For both the patient and the attendant, one invitation letter will be sufficient. International patients are advised to print the document and visit the Indian embassy with the proper documents.

Patients are also requested to mention their appointment date at the nearby Indian Embassy. In most cases, a 6-months visa would be issued by the Indian embassy.
