Choosing Your Doctor

After choosing a treatment facility, speak with an international representative or an online doctor and submit your questions, along with any medical records and histories.

Organizing Your Travel Plans

• To receive a visa invitation letter from the hospital, new patients must send a copy of their passport. It is crucial that patients give international representatives their flight schedules as soon as they receive the hospital’s invitation letter.
• Your visa, immunization records, MRI scans, and other necessary medical records should be brought with you.
• In addition to arranging a hotel for the patient, the hospital staff will also arrange for an airport pickup service.

Your Stay in India

The International Patient Division will help you make hotel reservations if you prefer to stay nearby a hospital while receiving treatment, all while staying below your specified budget plan.

Arriving at Apollo Hospital

Please be aware that you must show your passport at the registration desk when you arrive at the hospital to complete your patient registration. A copy of your passport, including the photo page and visa, will be kept by the hospital for your medical records.

Medical Visa

Visas are required for all medical tourists who come to India for medical care. Patients must send our hospital a copy of their passports and the passports of any accompanying people. The patient’s medical visa invitation letter will then be sent via email to them and the closest Indian embassy once the hospital’s International Patient Care staff has received the copies of the passports.

Your name as it appears on your passport with your passport numbers will be included in the visa invitation letter that we prepare for your visa. For the patient and the caretaker, one letter of invitation will be sufficient. When visiting the Indian embassy, international patients are advised to print the document and provide the required documents.

Patients are also requested to remember the date of their appointment at the nearest Indian Embassy. After verification, the Indian embassy will issue a 6-month visa.
