Medical Visa

The Indian government imposes entry, stay, and departure restrictions on medical tourists. By giving you the accurate information, we can help you in obtaining a medical visa from the embassy of your native country.

Our hospital needs copies of the patient’s passport and the passports of any guests. Once the hospital’s International Patient Care staff has received the copies of your passports, we will email the medical visa invitation letter to the patient and the nearest Indian embassy. The medical invitation letter that we prepare for your visa will include your name as it appears on your passport along with the passport numbers. For the patient and the companion, one letter of invitation will do.

Patients from other countries are recommended to print the document and bring the necessary documentation when they visit the Indian embassy. Patients are also advised to make a note of the time and date of their appointment at the nearby Indian Embassy. The Indian embassy or high commissioner will review and decide whether to accept your application. The Indian embassy will issue you a visa with a six-month validity.
