International Patient Services
Manipal International Patient Care provides patients from many nations with international standard health care solutions.
We understand that in order to organize your medical trip, you must have a solid idea of the cost of the procedure and the time of your stay in India. Your estimated time of hospitalization and treatment plan will be provided by our international patient health care center. For the initial evaluation, you will be needed to disclose your medical history and most recent reports. You can share your information if it is stored in any common electronic health record system. Our experts look over your information and give you advice on the various treatment options, costs, and proposed duration of stay at our hospital for your illness.
Any information about our facilities, specialists, procedures, or other clarifications will be gladly provided to you by our international patient care staff.

Discharge and Departure:
You will be discharged when your doctor determines that you are healthy enough to travel back to your native country. The international patient care center will also make arrangements for a handover to your local doctor to inform him/her of your condition and the necessary follow-up care.
Medical Visa
Foreigners are subject to entry, stay, and departure restrictions by the Indian government. We can help you get a medical visa from the embassy of your home country by providing you with the necessary information. You can rely on us for assistance.
Our hospital requires copies of the patient’s passport and the passports of any companions before admitting the patient. We shall email the medical visa invitation letter to the patient and the closest Indian embassy as soon as the hospital’s International Patient Care staff has received the copies of the passports. Your name as it appears on your passport together with the passport numbers will be on the medical invitation letter we draft for your visa. One invitation letter will be sufficient for the patient and the attendant.
It is advised that foreign patients print the document and bring the required paperwork with them when they visit the Indian consulate. Patients must also remember to mention the date of their appointment at the closest Indian Embassy. Usually, visas with a six-month duration are issued by the Indian embassy.
