Medical Visa
Indian government restrictions apply to foreigners’ entry, stay, and departure. By giving you the required information, we can help you obtain a medical visa from your country’s embassy or consulate. Visas are required for any medical tourists who come to India for medical care. Patients must send the hospital a copy of their passports and the passports of any accompanying individuals. The patient’s medical visa invitation letter will be sent via email to them and the closest Indian embassy once the hospital’s International Patient Care staff has received the copies of the passports.
Your name as it appears on your passport with your passport numbers will be included in the medical visa invitation letter that we prepare for your visa. One letter of invitation will be adequate for the patient and the attendant. Patients from other countries are advised to print the document and bring the required documents when they visit the Indian consulate.
Additionally, patients are asked to note the date of their appointment at the nearby Indian Embassy. The Indian embassy will provide a 6-month visa. Patients are also asked to send their airline tickets to confirm the arrival date and time.
