Medical Visa

Visas are required for any medical tourists who come to India for medical services. All of our patients are asked to email a copy of their passport and the passports of any accompanying individuals to our international patient care team. The visa invitation letter will be provided once our International Patient Care team has received a copy of your passport.

We will include your name as it appears on your passport along with your passport numbers on the medical invitation letter that we provide for your visa. For the patient and the attendant, one letter of invitation will be sufficient. When visiting the Indian consulate, patients from other countries are advised to print the document and provide the necessary paperwork. Patients are also advised to make a note of the time and date of their appointment at the nearby Indian Embassy.

The Indian embassy or high commissioner will review and decide whether to accept your application. Generally, a six-month visa would be issued by the Indian embassy. Patients are also required to send their plane tickets in order to confirm the arrival date and time.
