4. Video Consultation – Free for International Patients

When you confirm your appointment for treatment at their facility, their International Patient Care Center will provide you with the necessary information, which will help you set up your finances before flying to India for the procedure. If you are going to India for medical treatment, you will be given a “Medical-visa (M-visa)” and a “Miscellaneous visa (MX-visa)” for the attendant who is going with the patient.
All medical tourists traveling to India for medical treatment must get a visa. Patients are required to email a copy of their passports as well as the passport of any accompanying person to the hospital. After the International Patient Care team at the hospital has received the passport copies, the patient’s medical visa invitation letter will be issued via email to them and to the closest Indian embassy.
We will prepare a medical invitation letter for your visa that includes your name as it appears on your passport and your passport numbers. For both the patient and the attendant, one invitation letter will be sufficient.
International patients are advised to print the document and visit the Indian embassy with the proper documents.
Patients are also requested to mention their appointment date at the nearby Indian Embassy. In most cases, a 6-months visa would be issued by the Indian embassy. Additionally, in order to verify the arrival date and time, patients are asked to send their airplane tickets.
